Talked about finishing some projects I started in a previous post. Well, the online drawing class I’ve been taking has helped me along on the 100 faces project! No, it’s not just a coincidence that the project came from Carla Sonheim’s book, Drawing Lab and the drawing class is Carla’s Silly 5 drawing class! The class is not just about drawing faces but I’ve taken advantage of some of the drawing methods and applied them to faces. Class ends tomorrow 😦 but I vow to keep my new(re)found creative energy and use it on my faces project and a few others that are swirling around in my head. 12 down, 88 to go!
About me….
Welcome to my blog. Join me on my journey to get more creativity into my daily life. I'll be posting my paintings, drawings and journal pages along with whatever else sparks inspiration on my path. C'mon along!

I have been pondering taking one of Carla’s classes. Thanks for all of the feedback, I really want to join one of her classes now! Your drawings are awesome!

Thanks! I loved the class. One of the best parts was all the online feedback you get when you post your work. Just got notice she is doing a 5 week painting class this spring. Would love to do that but I know we’ll be out of town for at least two of the weeks. Enjoyed your 3-part post on ephemera. I love tutorials that show the step by step process. I’ve never used walnut ink–I’ll have to find some. Be reading you soon, Marge
